Cold weather is hanging over the region and showing no signs of letting up. If you’re planning to drive anywhere, check road conditions first.

The week isn’t getting any easier. Haraldur says temperatures will keep falling, with Thursday looking particularly grim. A strong north-easterly wind is also on the way.
“There is a storm brewing in the Southeast, which will bring frigid conditions, especially in the northern areas come Friday,” he explains. “Prepare for gusty winds in both the North and East.”
