Weather Forecast Update

A northerly wind is blowing across the country today, sitting between 3 to 8 meters per second for most areas, with gusts hitting 8 to 13 meters per second out east. Skies are partly cloudy, and there’s a decent breeze picking up in the northeast.

Things change a bit this evening, especially along the west coast — cloud cover will build and there’s a real chance of storms moving in. Overnight temperatures will drop to somewhere between 0 and 8 degrees Celsius, so it’ll feel properly cold in parts of the country.

Tomorrow, winds swing around to a westerly direction, again at 3 to 8 meters per second. The western half of the country is looking grey, with some snow or sleet possible, while the east should see a clearer picture overall. Temperatures near the west coast will hover around freezing, but the interior of the northeast could see it fall to around 10 degrees below.
