As the sun began to rise over the rugged landscapes of Iceland’s Northwest region, we embarked on another thrilling day of exploration. This part of the island is renowned for its dramatic fjords, striking mountain ranges, and a sense of isolation that feels both wild and liberating.
Our journey commenced in the charming village of Stykkishólmur, nestled against the backdrop of breathtaking scenery. The town, known for its colorful houses and vibrant harbor, offered a perfect opportunity to enjoy a warm cup of coffee and a leisurely stroll along the waterfront. From Stykkishólmur, we turned our attention to the captivating Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
