Hjörtur Bergstað, the chairman of Málnir and the esteemed Fáks equestrian association, has been making headlines recently, particularly in connection with Ragnheiður Guðfinna Guðnadóttir. Ragnheiður, a consultant in occupational psychology and the proud titleholder of Miss Iceland 2001, has captured attention not just with her professional achievements but also with her budding relationship with Hjörtur.
Spotted together at various events, including those held in Tungnaréts, the pair has sparked intrigue, showcasing a mutual fascination that belies their 16-year age difference—Hjörtur was born in 1964, while Ragnheiður entered the world in 1980.
Hjörtur has long been recognized in the equestrian community, notably serving as chairman of the recent National Equestrian Championship in 2024. Ragnheiður, on her part, boasts an impressive background in media and holds a master’s degree in Social and Work Psychology. Since 2010, she has been lending her expertise as a consultant and mentor, having previously been in a relationship with the investor and writer Reyni Finndal Grétarsson.
In light of their apparent connection, Smartland wishes them all the best as they navigate this new chapter of their lives.
